I’m 34, living in Bath, England. I’ve always been ambitious in both fitness and business, competing in sport my whole life.

I coach committed runners who want to improve their fitness, challenge their limits and use fitness to become better in every area of life.

The people I work best with are ambitious. They care deeply. They want to know how good they can become. But that same drive can also lead to overthinking, impatience, inconsistent decisions, injury cycles and unnecessary pressure.

I understand that because I’m wired the same way.

Why I coach

I coach because I believe running and fitness can make ambitious people better at everything.

It builds discipline, patience, resilience, confidence and the ability to make good decisions under pressure.

Those qualities matter in training, but they also matter in business, work, family and life.

The problem is that ambitious people often bring the same intensity to training that they bring to everything else. That can be powerful, but it can also lead to overthinking, overtraining, impatience and unnecessary pressure.

I know that pattern because I have lived it.

That is why my coaching is built around helping you use your ambition properly.

Not less ambition.
Better direction.

The goal is to help you train smarter, get fitter and perform better in every area of life.

My own running ambition

My ambition is to become one of the best age-group runners in the world and compete to win international age-group races in my 40s.

That is not a casual goal. It will take years of consistent training, patience, discipline and intelligent decision-making.

But I will to do it without making running my whole identity.

I will still be a good husband and dad. I still want to build my business.

Some coaches will tell you serious progress requires sacrificing everything else.

I don’t agree.

I believe the best long-term progress comes when fitness enhances your life, rather than slowly taking it over.

That is the standard I hold myself to, and it is the same standard I bring into my coaching.

My coaching background

Before coaching runners, I spent 13 years in sales, leadership and business performance. I still regularly expose myself to this world since it shapes my coaching philosophy.

A big part of that work involved coaching people to improve their motivation, confidence, habits, communication, discipline and performance under pressure.

That experience influences the way I coach fitness improvements now.

The training plan matters. The sessions matter. The progression matters. But the mindset, self-awareness, confidence and decision-making matter just as much.

The best plan in the world is useless if the athlete constantly second-guesses it, pushes too hard, ignores warning signs, under-recovers, or loses belief the moment progress feels slow.

My current running benchmarks

I believe credibility matters.

I’m not coaching from theory alone. I’m actively training, competing, learning and chasing ambitious goals myself.

These are my current personal bests, all set in 2026:

5K: 18:33
10K: 38:56
Half Marathon: 1:26:52
Marathon: 3:09:25

I intend to keep improving year after year, and I want to work with runners who think the same way.

The athletes I coach will not be following someone who used to care about progress. They’ll be working with someone who is still in the process, still chasing bigger goals, and still committed to finding out what is possible.

Am I the right coach for you?

We will work well together if you:

  • Are committed to long-term running progress
  • Set ambitious goals and want to find out how good you can become
  • Care deeply about improving, but sometimes overthink your training
  • Have a busy life, career, family or responsibilities outside of running
  • Want running to enhance your life, not dominate it
  • Have struggled with impatience, injury cycles, inconsistency or doubt
  • Want structure, honesty and support from someone who understands the all-or-nothing mindset
  • Are willing to be challenged, but do not want a coach who simply tells you to push harder
  • Believe there is more in you and want help bringing it out
